Submission #2: Gone
I sent out my second short-fiction submission of the year a few minutes ago.
#1 went out a week ago and is (as far as I know) still under consideration.
This could become a habit.

Not sure yet. Got a couple things queued ahead of it. Have a noodle of an idea, though. Is there a theme this time?
And did I read somewhere on your blog that you're participating in a Genesis workgroup? Too late to hook up with that?

Chris, I totally forgot to check back. We actually have ONE open slot, but because it's already coming up on week six, you'd be five critiques behind as of today, and a new set of pages goes out Monday. The group rules are that any new member must do crits for all the previous members in order to be critted in turn. That's a lot of crits. That's 150 pages.
We've been using the Genesis guidelines and scoresheet and Word Tracker for comments on the actual pages, so it does take a while per person (I average 2.5 hours).
I suspect you really don't have the time to invest like 12 hours of catch-up critiquing. :-P
However, I haven't decided whether I'm gonna enter yet. I will be judging. (Most likely, Mystery/suspense.)
I'm satisfied with my win last year and am not feeling the strongest urge to enter. Just a mild one. :)
What category are you going for?

Hey, Mir. My Genesis entry would be in the Mystery/Thriller/Suspense/Awesome category.
I'll work with my emerging* editing group on it, but thanks for being willing to accept a late entry.
*not Emerging Church, it's just getting ready to launch.

Actually, good thing you told me it's MTS....so don't tell me the title or anything about it, just in case. And don't title it anything like Purgatory or MacArthur. ; )

K. Thanks.
You gonna enter again? :)
