Whaddya Mean, You Don't Read Peter Chianca?
Peter Chianca is a (perhaps the) humor columnist at the Boston Herald. Kind of like Dave Barry, but from a more northern clime. And with Barry no longer on the comedy beat (unless he's unretired and didn't tell me), Chianca's my new end-of-the-week chucklemeister (he blogs midweek chuckles, too).
This week he takes a look at kids' "educational" TV and what lessons are being learned.

Funny stuff, Maynard.

From the article:
..."Dragon Tales," the show about two kids who travel to "Dragon Land," where all their playmates fly around and breathe fire; it’s like sending your kid to day care at Cirque du Soleil. Also sent up in the article: Bear in the Big Blue House, Dora the Explorer, Blue's Clues, and The Wiggles. The Blue's Clues comment is the best of the bunch.
Funny stuff, Maynard.
