My Mind Is Blown
No, my students haven't done me in (yet)...
Last night I was reading the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy radio scripts (because that's fun for me). In the endnotes following the first episode the HHGG theme music is identified as "Journey of the Sorcerer" by the Eagles.
Yes, those Eagles.
Anybody got a cranial band-aid?

2 Snarky Remarks:
Don't have iTunes so couldn't listen. But I'm pretty good at first aid :-) (the Kindergarten years taught me well).

This is the coolest bit of trivia of the day.
See, I have the soundtrack to the H2G2 movie (bought simply for the two versions of "So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish"), and I quickly determined all the orchestral compositions mediocre at best.
Except for that one song, the one with the Spanish-ish guitar and demanding theme. The one titled "Journey of the Sorcerer."
Of course, iTunes doesn't reference the Eagles. But it is the same song. Now I know why I like it.
(In other news, I now *really* want to get my hands on the radio show.)
